Volunteer Orientation

Volunteer Orientation will be held Saturday, May 3, 2008 at the BMW Zentrum. You will receive a postcard in the mail with your assigned pick-up time. At Orientation you will receive your uniform package as well as your schedule of hours and courses assigned for tournament week. You will also receive a volunteer booklet with helpful information–be sure to read this booklet carefully!

If you are unable to attend Orientation on May 3 at the BMW Zentrum, the make up day will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Thornblade Club volunteer tent. You may send someone in your place, but that designated person will be responsible for getting your schedule from the respective chair(s).

You will not be notified ahead of time which position you will be working with the exception of Transportation, Walking Scorer and Scoring Central; these positions will be notified ahead of time.

Walking Scorers and Scoring Central volunteers will be required to attend a separate mandatory training session with the PGA TOUR officials at Thornblade Club on Saturday, May 10, 2008.
