BMW Manufacturing Receives Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series Certification (OHSAS 18001)
Since 1994, BMW Manufacturing has been certified to the ISO 9001 quality standard. In 1998, the South Carolina plant followed with certification for ISO 14001 environmental management standard.
Spartanburg, S.C. – March 20, 2013…For its individual efforts in energy efficiency, sustainability and business growth, BMW Manufacturing was a recipient of the 2012 Duke Energy Power Partner Award. In an official ceremony Wednesday, officials from Duke Energy presented Mr. Josef Kerscher, President of BMW Manufacturing, with the award.
