2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am Presented By SYNNEX Corporation: Online Ticket Sales Now Open, Online Volunteer Registration Opens Feb. 1
The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation’s ticket sales website, presented by Kentwool, is now open. The tournament’s online volunteer registration will open Friday, February 1.
“Both of these programs are a great way for the community to give back to local charities while being part of a world-class sporting event,” said Bob Nitto, president of South Carolina Charities, Inc.
When patrons purchase tickets online at www.buybmwtickets.com, 100 percent of the purchase price of $10, $25 and $50 tickets can be donated to one of the tournament’s 20 charity partners.
“Volunteers are the lifeblood of the tournament. It’s not an exaggeration to say that the event wouldn’t be possible without them,” said Darin MacDonald, executive director of the tournament. “And it’s important to note that you don’t need to know anything about golf to volunteer. There’s a place for everyone.”
Volunteers can also earn funds for their favorite tournament charity by choosing one of the 20 charity partners to benefit from their workdays as a volunteer.
Those interested in volunteering can visit www.bmwcharitygolf.com for online volunteer registration or to download a paper application. Volunteer registration is $50, however, Early Bird Registration ($40) is available through March 29. The volunteer registration fee covers the volunteer package, which includes one tournament polo shirt, one cap or visor, one Volunteer Credential, one Patron Credential, one 2013 volunteer pin as well as food and beverages while volunteering.
