BMW Charity Pro-Am Announces New VIP Fan Experience.
The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation is looking for deserving individuals and families to experience the 2014 tournament as a VIP.
New for 2014, the VIP Fan Experience will give deserving honorees, an individual or family, the star treatment for one day of the 2014 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation, which takes place May 15-18.
“The goal of this program is to brighten someone’s day—to give back to those who truly deserve it. Whether the winner has battled illness or just returned from deployment, we’re searching for individuals with unique stories who are in need of a day of relaxation,” said Darin MacDonald, executive director of South Carolina Charities, Inc.
Winners will start their day picked up in a BMW, chauffeured by one of the tournament’s volunteers. The winner will then be brought to Thornblade Club where they will receive complimentary breakfast and lunch, as well as VIP seating on the 18th green in the Kentwool Skybox Club, with beverages provided by Pepsi.
South Carolina Charities Inc., the non-profit that manages the tournament, invites individuals to apply themselves or on behalf of a deserving individual or family. “Putting on a family-friendly event that makes a difference in the community is at the heart of SCCI’s mission,” said SCCI President Bob Nitto. “This fan experience is about more than giving a family a free day of entertainment on the golf course; it’s about showing compassion for those in our community who need it most.”
Those interested in applying themselves or nominating someone for the VIP Fan Experience are urged to visit bmwcharitygolf.com to download the application. Completed applications must be emailed to BMWVIP@sccharities.org by Tuesday, April 15. All questions can be directed to BMWVIP@sccharities.org or by calling 864.297.1660.
