New Vice President Joins BMW Manufacturing Co.
Bernd Koenigsbruegge (pronounced: Kern-ext-brewga) has been named vice president, Body in White at BMW Manufacturing Co. He succeeds Manfred Moser, who has returned to Germany to work at BMW’s Research and Innovation Center in Munich.
Koenigsbruegge graduated from Technical University of Aachen/Germany in 1984 with a degree in mechanical engineering and began his career with BMW at the Munich factory. He has worked in the Body in White shops at the Munich and Regensburg factories in Germany, the Longbridge and Oxford factories in England as well as the Research and Innovation Center in Munich. Before joining BMW Manufacturing, Koenigsbruegge directed the Body in White shop at BMW’s new factory in Leipzig.
