Pairings; Tee Times Set for This Week’s BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs Golf Tournament
Pairings and tee times for this week’s second-annual BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs golf tournament have been set. The tournament begins Thursday at The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards and Cliffs Valley golf courses. Celebrities will play the Keowee Vineyards course Thursday and Cliffs Valley on Friday. Tee off begins at approximately 7:15 a.m., Thursday and Friday.

The BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs golf tournament is the only BUY.COM TOUR event that features professionals paired with an amateur/celebrity partner in a two-day best-ball competition. The 12 best teams (eight best Pro-Celeb and four best Pro-Am) advance to play for the BMW Charity Cup on Saturday. The professional winner of the overall 72-hole event will take home $94,500 from the total purse of $525,000, while the amateurs/celebrities will compete for individual prizes and cash donations to the charity of their choice. All four rounds will be televised live by The Golf Channel.
General Admission tickets for all four days of the 2002 BMW Charity Pro-Am at The Cliffs can be purchased for $20 by calling (864) 660-1103. Clubhouse, Skybox and VIP tickets can be purchased for $100, $200, and $300 respectively. Proceeds benefit local charities.
