Sister Hazel Set to Headline Exclusive #RocktheSocks Concert.
Sister Hazel, whose prolific song “All for You” propelled the alternative rock band to the top of the charts, will bring their unmistakable sound to the Upstate on Friday, May 20 at 7 p.m. as they headline the #RocktheSocks Concert presented by Kentwool. The performance will follow the free Thursday, May 19 Celebrity Concert on Main event sponsored by Gestamp South Carolina, LLC, Piedmont Natural Gas and Spartanburg Community College from 6 to 10 p.m.
The concerts mark the conclusion of the first two days of play at the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by SYNNEX Corporation, teeing off May 19 to 22 at Thornblade Club, The Reserve at Lake Keowee and, new for 2016, The Preserve at Verdae.
“I am really looking forward to not only playing in the tournament, but also putting on a great show for the fans,” said Drew Copeland, Sister Hazel guitarist. “This is such a cool, unique event, and I am very proud to be part of something that not only provides great entertainment, but also gives back to the community.”
Sister Hazel’s performance on the TD Stage at the Peace Center Amphitheater will be part of a grand evening featuring a menu by Larkin’s on the River and beverages. Thursday’s free concert will feature musical talent from the golf tournament celebrity line-up, including members of country music’s Rascal Flatts Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, as well as South Carolina native sons and Hootie & The Blowfish co-founders Dean Felber and Mark Bryan.
