Spectator Information & Special Events

TOURNAMENT DATES: Thursday, May 15-Sunday, May 18

TOURNAMENT COURSES: Thornblade Club (Greer, SC), The Reserve at Lake Keowee (Sunset, SC) and Green Valley Country Club (Greenville, SC)

COURSE ROTATION: One-third of the field will play at each course on Thursday, May 15, Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17. Each participant will play one round at each course before the final round is played on Sunday, May 18 at Thornblade Club.

COMPETITION:168 Web.com Tour pros paired with 168 amateurs and celebrities. The 10 lowest scoring pro-am teams, 6 featured celebrity pro-am teams and 65 low Web.com Tour pros (and ties) will advance to play Sunday’s final round at Thornblade Club. The 16 amateurs who play in Sunday’s final round have the opportunity to donate $1,000 from the Kentwool Charity Purse to one of the tournament’s charitable beneficiaries.

PURSE:$650,000 ($117,000 to the Professional Champion)

GATE TIMES: Gates open at 7am.

TICKETS: Prices start at $10 for a one-day ticket. Click here to visit the ticket sales website. One hundred and fifty percent of $10, $25 and $50 tickets may be donated to one of the tournament’s charities. During tournament rounds tickets can be purchased at the gate at each course. To purchase tickets at the gate, park at spectator parking, ride the shuttle to the course and purchase tickets at the TD Convenience Center. The TD Convenience Center is located near the shuttle drop off at each course.

FREE ADMISSION FOR MILITARY AND YOUTH 14 AND UNDER: Complimentary daily grounds admission is granted for all active duty, retired, Reserve military and veterans, along with their dependents; a valid ID is required for entry. Complimentary daily grounds admission is also granted to all youth 14 and under who are accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

WHAT TO BRING TO THE TOURNAMENT: Comfortable walking shoes, hat or visor, light jacket, umbrella, sunscreen, sunglasses, binoculars, cash for concessions and credit cards for souvenir merchandise.

PROHIBITED ITEMS: Cameras, coolers, alcohol, firearms, backpacks. Memorabilia and collectibles for resale purposes are not permitted. All bags subject to search. You will be required to return prohibited items to your vehicle.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

The Ketel One Bars at Thornblade Club – Thursday, May 15-Sunday, May 18 at Thornblade Club:  The Ketel One Bars are a new feature for spectators who attend the tournament at Thornblade Club. All ticket holders have access to The Ketel One Bars on Thornblade’s 18th Green, and spectators with Clubhouse access have the opportunity to access to two additional Ketel One Bars inside the clubhouse.

Birdies for Beer presented by Michelob Ultra  - Thursday, May 15-Sunday, May 18 at Thornblade Club’s 9th hole:  Spectators will enjoy congregating around #9, which will feature public bleacher seating as well as special beverage pricing for 10 minutes each time a Web.com Tour pro or amateur contestant makes a birdie on this par 3.

Birdies for Socks presented by Kentwool – Thursday, May 15-Sunday, May 18 at Thornblade Club’s 18th hole: Spectators will enjoy special pricing on Kentwool socks in Thornblade’s merchandise tent for 10 minutes each time a Web.com Tour pro or amateur contestant makes a birdie on this par 4.

Mike Creery Love for the Game Junior Golf Zone – Thursday, May 15-18 at Thornblade Club: Youth are invited to this fun area on the course where they can hit golf balls, receive free snacks and have the chance to win prizes and meet Web.com Tour pros.

The Celebrity Walk of Fame presented by Piedmont Natural Gas – Thursday, May 15 – 6:45-7:45pm – Main Street downtown Greenville: The public is invited to attend this free event (located on Main between Court and Broad Streets) and see the celebrities of the 2014 tournament walk the red carpet as they enter an event at the Courtyard Greenville Downtown. Actor and Comedian Gary Valentine will emcee the event.

The Bacon Brothers Concert presented by Drive Automotive – Friday, May 16 – 7-10:30pm – Peace Center Amphitheatre: Get ready for an amazing celebrity concert featuring headliners The Bacon Brothers, composed of well-known actor Kevin Bacon and brother Michael, an award-winning composer for film and television. And if you’ve been to this concert before, you know to expect the unexpected so don’t be surprised if other celebrities warm things up with a few songs of their own. Along with an amazing show, you’ll enjoy delicious food provided by Larkin’s on the River and drinks in the Ketel One Lounge. Casual attire. Individual ticket price $250.
